Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the affected centres are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families scrambling to secure alternative care arrangements.
Administrators were able to offload some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given little time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown goes forward.
